Role objectives

As our new Head of Business Development, you will build and ensure flawless operations of the business development sector of the commercial business in Yieldigo.

Within your team you will be working closely with Sasa, Lana and Dawid who look forward to welcome you on board. You will provide them with your support and leadership.

You’ll thrive with us if you

  • have 3+ years of experience in enterprise business development (a recent one);
  • have 2+ years of experience in business development leadership role (a recent one), ie. exceptional leadership and management skills;
  • can lead by example;
  • are familiar with B2B business development strategies (must);
  • have proven business development, sales, or marketing experience;
  • will show us how you build excellent relationships;
  • have top-class presentation and communications skills;
  • have hands-on experience successfully supporting the evaluation, negotiation, and closing a variety of large and complex licensing and/or partnership transactions;
  • are energetic self-starter, results oriented and have the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment;
  • are passionate and self-motivated to assist with driving deals to a successful conclusion and to deliver quality results;
  • have proven experience of working with CRM management;
  • have excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills;
  • have strong business acumen;
  • are detail-oriented and persuasive;
  • are perceived as an empathetic, positive, and confident person, resistant to failure;
  • can speak and write C-lvl English

Your daily portion of activities will be

  • shaping an ongoing strategy for the business development team from a long term perspective to daily practical improvements;
  • leading a team of up to 6 business development representatives located in Prague HQ;
  • performing business development activities;
  • developing and managing strategic partnerships to grow business;
  • nurturing cooperation between different departments: marketing, sales, product management and business development;
  • improving customer experience and creating strategies to speed up and optimize the way to handle prospects requests;
  • finding new ways to shortening the sales cycle and creating smooth connection between the BDR team and their respective sales executives;
  • introducing new tools and processes into the workflow and helping the team to adapt to changes;
  • hiringon-boarding and coaching a team of business development on a constant basis, empowering them to develop their skills and grow within the company.
