At Yieldigo, we develop a data-driven pricing software used by retail chains across Europe and the USA. The R&D team is responsible for the analytical core of the product – statistical models, data work, and algorithms that turn complex retail data into concrete pricing recommendations.
We are looking for a Data Scientist who enjoys applied statistics, modeling, and machine learning, and who wants to see the results of their work in a real product used by international clients. You will be part of the R&D team and work closely with other developers on the development of the computational engine behind our application.
Our development team consists of Backend, Frontend, R&D, and QA. Within R&D, you will primarily focus on working in R, statistics, and data modeling, with some work in Python and SQL as well. We work agile – regular stand-ups, retrospectives, and two-week sprints are standard. Code reviews, tests, and standard modern software development practices are a given.
Develop, test, and maintain the analytical core of our pricing software, including statistical models, data workflows, and algorithms that transform complex retail data into actionable pricing recommendations.
Collaborate closely with R&D and other development teams to enhance the computational engine behind our application.
Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and data science techniques primarily in R, with occasional work in Python and SQL.
Participate in agile workflows: daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and two-week sprints.
Contribute to code reviews, testing, and other modern software development practices to ensure high-quality solutions.

You are passionate about applied mathematics, statistics, modeling, and machine learning.
You are comfortable programming, with at least 2 years of practical experience, and can work primarily in R.

You are eager to learn, open-minded, and don’t take yourself too seriously.
You are fluent in English, as much of our team communicates in English across Europe and the USA.
